Required Structural Fitter

Job Description :

A leading Company Looking for an experienced Structural Fitter in Canada.

Job Details:

•  Keep in close contact with the Structural Production Manager for any and all questions, issues, concerns, ideas, tool/equipment procurement, etc.
• Receive “For Fabrication” drawings from the structural production manager. Use that drawing to fabricate the member shown on the drawing in a thorough and  systematic manner, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
• Notify quality control personnel when fabricated members are to be checked for accuracy, at required intervals per Metal Works’ Quality Control Plan.
• Interpret fabrication drawings for layout, fitting, assembly, and welding of structural assemblies.
• Measure and mark location and identification of holes, copes, hardware, and welds.
• Fit parts and assemblies to the appropriate location within specified tolerances.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience is required.
• Technical Skills.
• High School Diploma.
• Good communication Skills.
